Words are potent weapons for all causes, good or bad. – Manly Hall
Habits are formed through repetition. Once formed, we respond without being conscious of it.
To change a habit, you must repeat the new behavior until it becomes imbedded in your subconscious.
What is your habitual response to the “how are you” question?
- OK, can’t complain – how lukewarm. Although you are telling your subconscious not to complain today, you are also telling it not to celebrate either. Turn up the emotional intensity to supercharge your day.
- My big toe hurts, I have a headache, I’m coming down with the flu, my allergies are kicking up – bet people are standing in line to hear about your aches and pains. The law of attraction says that with this type of response you will be surrounded with other whining, complaining people. Your day will be filled with clouds.
How about emotionally intensifying your day, every day?
It’s so easy.
I have an uncle Nate who always has the same response to the how are you question – FAAAN-TASTIC!!!! Not only does he say this, he says it with a huge grin on his face and walks with a bounce in his step. I’m sure he has his bad days, (I’ve been to funerals with him) but nonetheless he is always FAAAN-TASTIC!!!
Guess what? He has more good days than bad because he speaks them into existence. He is surrounded by upbeat people because they are attracted to other upbeat people. As a matter of fact, most of the people in the small town where he lives describe him as FAAAN-TASTIC.
It is so easy to create a great day.
The opportunities are there simply find an emotionally charged response to the how are you question and create a habit of using it. Watch how the sun breaks through the clouds.
Here are a few of the words I use – Can you add more?
- On Fire
