Because I’ve been there.

It was a long time ago (it seems like almost a different person) but I suffered from deep depression and anxiety.

It was the result of emotional abuse, sexual abuse and bullying – – but I am not a victim. I am a winner.

I started to suffer from depression and anxiety around age 11 and got worse for the next 15 years. My hands shook uncontrollably and at times I would lash out violently due to stress. I was at times suicidal at times and agoraphobic (unable to leave my house alone.) I was too broke to afford professional help. I felt there was no hope.

My turning point was the day when I said, “no more. I have had enough.” Although I instantly changed that day, it took me decades of research and trial and error to learn how to make it all work.

Today, I am a joyful survivor, excited to live each day to the fullest. I travel, speak publicly, own my own successful business, teach, have a wonderful marriage, healthy children, a grandson and everything in life that I have ever wanted. I am a new person.

I am grateful for my new life.

This blog is my way of paying it forward, of sharing my success with you.

If you are suffering, you can benefit from what I learned without it taking you decades.

No one has to be a prisoner of despair.
